D-G of IEPA hosts Education Minister

The Director-General of the Institute for Educational Planning and Administration (IEPA) of University of Cape Coast, Dr. Michael Boakye-Yiadom, has received in audience the Minister of Education, Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum.

The Minister was at the Institute to acquaint himself with the operations of IEPA since its elevation to the status of a UNESCO Category II Centre of Excellence for West Africa in 2021.

During the meeting, Dr. Michael Boakye-Yiadom and Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum discussed varied burning issues, including the selection of IEPA as Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4 Technical Committee of the Ministry of Education; and ongoing  future research projects.

 

The conversation also covered more innovative funding opportunities; neighborhood and community engagements; professional development for staff of the Ministry of Education; Ghana Education Trust Fund (GETFund) and the Sub-Regional focus of IEPA.

 

Present at the meeting were Staff members of IEPA and the delegation accompanying the minister.
