SoPPS Celebrates Pioneer PharmD Class of 2025

The School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences (SoPPS) has celebrated its first Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) graduates at a special dinner held on campus.

The pioneer class achieved a 100% distinction rate in the 2025 Ghana Pharmacy Professional Qualifying Examination (GPPQE), marking a historic milestone for the School.

In his remarks, the Dean, Prof. Ernest Obese, congratulated the graduates and reminded them to prioritize patient well-being, uphold professional ethics, and embrace innovative approaches in pharmacy practice.

The Former Dean of SoPPS, Prof. Elvis Ofori Ameyaw, also applauded the cohort and highlighted the exciting opportunities awaiting them in the profession.

The newly qualified pharmacists expressed gratitude to the Dean and faculty for their guidance and pledged to uphold the values of the profession with integrity and dedication.

The celebration marked not only the successful completion of the pioneering PharmD program but also set a high standard for future cohorts, reflecting the excellence and commitment that SoPPS instills in its students.
