INTERNAL RECRUITMENT

The University of Cape Coast invites applications from qualified and competent individuals for the position of Head of the University Kindergarten which will become vacant from 1st August, 2019.

Key Responsibilities

The Head shall be responsible for all Academic and Administrative duties of the school such as promoting discipline, staff and student welfare and general wellbeing of the school.  He/she is directly responsible to the Registrar through the Director (DLCGS) but ultimately to the Vice Chancellor. 

Qualifications/Experience

Candidates seeking appointment to this position must:

i. possess M.Phil. degree in Early Childhood Education or an equivalent qualification in an education/teaching related discipline

ii. have a minimum of ten (10) years relevant experience in Teaching, Educational Administration and/or Guidance and Counseling

iii. be of at least Assistant Director or equivalent status

iv. be able to demonstrate adequate working knowledge of the University system

v. be able to demonstrate appreciable understanding of the behaviour of kids and interest in their development
