It is announced for the information of the University Community and the General Public that at its Special Meeting held on Saturday, 30^th July, 2016, the University Council, on the recommendation of the Appointments and Promotions Board, appointed the following Senior Members as Provosts for a 3-year term each with effect from 1^st August, 2016:                                      

The Centre for Gender Research, Advocacy and Documentation (CEGRAD) is planning a workshop for all Female Senior Members, Academic at the University of Cape Coast. This platform is aimed at enhancing publication capacities of Female Lecturers. The proposed period for the workshop is from 10th to 12th August, 2016.

The Directorate of University Health Services in collaboration with Hoffman La Roche is organising HEPATITIS B and C Screening exercise for all Staff at the University Central Administration (SM, SS, JS) on TUESDAY, 26th JULY, 2016 at 8:00am - 2:00pm at the Central Administration Car Park.

Background The Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Cape Coast has been organizing Microfinance Conference since 2006. The conference has been attracting local and international participants from the industry, academia and Development Partner Institutions. The 9th in series of the Conference under the theme: The future of Microfinance: Sustainability of Microfinance Institutions and Financial Inclusion is scheduled for 9th and 10th February, 2017 at the University of Cape Coast.

The University of Cape Coast invites applications from experienced, results-oriented and highly motivated individuals for the position of Provost for the following Colleges which will become vacant on 1st August, 2016.

In late 2014, the Universities of Ghana and Cape Coast sought the assistance of the International Association of Universities (IAU) to enable them review their internationalization strategies. In response to the request, IAU through its Internationalization Strategies Advisory Services (ISAS) set up a four-member expert panel to assist the two institutions. The main objective of the process was to help the two universities develop strategies to strengthen their internationalisation policies and programmes.
