NPT 045 Project how-cased in the netherlands
The NPT-045 project has been show-cased in the Netherlands as one of the most successful African-based NUFFIC - funded projects during the 2005 -2008 project year.
The Local Secretary of the project, Mr. Yaw Anwhere, Assistant Registrar, IEPA was specially commended for his organizational efficiency. The commendation came from Drs. Kees van Dongen, Director of the Centre for International Development (CID) of the Vrije Universiteit, Amsterdam.
UPS Band Inaugurated
The University Primary School has inaugurated its newly-formed School Band at a grand ceremony which took place at the premises of the School.
The Band which is made up of 18 males and 10 females is the first of its kind at the pre-University level on Campus.
Locally manufactured UPS unit advocated
A Lecturer at the Department of Computer Science and Information Technology (DCSIT). Mr. Harrison Adjei Quaye has advocated the use of locally manufactured Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) Unit to address the persistent power outages in the country.
Mr. Quaye said this when he recently delivered a lecture on the "Modification and Maintenance of Uninterruptible
Power Supply" (UPS), at the Academic Board Chamber, North Campus.
ARIC Formed at UCC
The Audit Report Implementation Committee (ARIC) a statutory and high level independent corporate governance committee in the Public Sector Financial Management System has been recently formed at a ceremony at the Adabor Conference Room of the Institute of Education, North Campus.
