ESTABLISHMENT OF THE TRUST BANK/VICE-CHANCELLOR’S SCHOLARSHIP SCHEME AT THE UNIVERSITY OF CAPE COAST
Trust Bank/Vice-Chancellor's Scholarhsip Scheme
The University of Cape Coast wishes to announce for the information of the general public, especially indigenes of communities in and around the University, the establishment of the Trust Bank/Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarship Scheme with effect from the 2007/2008 academic year.
Objective of SchemeTo assist needy but brilliant students from communities in and around the University campus to meet part of the cost of their education at the University of Cape Coast.
Target Group and Eligibility To qualify for consideration, the applicant must a) be a brilliant but needy indigene of any of the eight (8) communities in and around the University of Cape Coast namely; Apewosika, Kokoado, Amamoma, Kwesi Prah, Kwaprow, Akotokyir, Ankaful and Kakumdo.b) have gained admission into the University of Cape Coast on his/her own merit to pursue any first degree programme of study. c) not be/not have been a staff of the University of Cape Coast.
Scholarship Package
The scholarship will cover the following:
a) Full University approved fees (to be paid directly to the University from the Fund on behalf of the awardee)
b) Stipend, the value of which shall be determined from time to time by a Standing Committee set up for the purpose.
Renewal of Award
The scholarship award is renewable in subsequent years on application and subject to continued good academic standing of beneficiaries.
How to ApplyInterested persons should download the TTB/VC’S SCHOLARSHIP Application Form for completion and submission by September 30, 2007, at the latest. The completed Application Form, accompanied by photocopies of relevant supporting documents, boldly marked TTB/VC’S SCHOLAR- SHIP should be sent to:
