The out-going Head of Cooperation and Cultural affairs of the French Embassy, Mr. Arnaud Dornon, has donated a laptop to be presented to the best student in French during Congregation.
Presenting the laptop to the Pro-Vice-Chancellor, Prof. D. D. Kuupole in his office, Mr. Dornon noted that the donation was a pledge he made to encourage more students to develop interest in the French language. He expressed gratitude to UCC for playing pivotal role in promoting the study of the language and also collaborating with the French Embassy to train high calibre of graduates both on campus and in France. Mr. Dornon, further praised UCC for dominating in the French scholarship for Ghanaian Universities.
Receiving the laptop, the Pro-Vice-Chancellor thanked Mr. Dornon for fulfilling his promise and the assistance he had offered to UCC. He congratulated him for establishing a good working relationship with UCC during his tenure of office.
