We wish to inform all students, members of the University and the general public that, following recommendations made by the Residence Committee, the University will from the beginning of the 2007/2008 academic year, introduce an “IN-OUT-OUT-OUT” Student Residential Policy. The new policy replaces the current one (IN-OUT-OUT-IN) which has been in operation since the beginning of the 2002/2003 academic year. Under the new policy, the first option for residential status will be given to Level 100 students. JCR executive members, physically/visually challenged persons and active sports men and women will also be considered for residential accommodation. Other categories of students will be considered subject to the availability of bed spaces. We count on the cooperation of all to ensure a successful implementation of the new policy.
