Various Donations to the University

  • The Asmona Company has donated one HP 2050 printer and a metal seat worth GH1500.00 to the Admissions Section of the Division of Academic Affairs, University of Cape Coast.
  • Mr. George Kuofie, Managing Director of GEOFRA Construction Company has donated a Dell Computer and its accessories to the University of Cape Coast.
  • Mr. Kofi Essuman of K.E. Enterprise has also donated a double decker fridge to the newly built Senior Staff Club House.

COMMISSIONING OF SENIOR STAFF CLUB HOUSE

A multi-purpose Senior Staff Club House near the Sasakawa Guest Centre has been commissioned by the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang.

In a short statement, the Prof. Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang thanked her predecessors for envisaging the idea of building a place that will enable people the Senior Staff and Senior Members to socialise and know each other as staff of UCC. She continued that "maintenance was necessary" if the building was to serve its purpose, and added that it was a Christmas gift to Staff of UCC.

COMMISSIONING OF SCHOOL OF AGRICULTURE FARM BUILDING

The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang, has commissioned the School of Agriculture Farm Building at the University Farms.

The Vice-Chancellor expressed appreciation to the School for taking the initiative to put up the structure and described it as a sign of commitment by the School. She urged all to take good care of the building so that the purpose for which it was constructed would not be defeated. She urged the School of Agriculture to provide the place with natural vegetables and foodstuff.
