UCC Alumni Excel @ Military Academy
Two Alumni of the University of Cape Coast have excelled in the Ghana Military Academy Training School (MATS), Teshie, Accra.
The two former Students of the University whose military prowess earned them their various awards are Raphael Koleyevu who graduated with Bachelor of Commerce degree and Flying Officer Kofi Owusu Agyeman who completed a B.Sc. (Maths/Stats) Programme in UCC. Raphael Koleyevu was adjudged the Best All-round Officer while Flying Officer Kofi Owusu Agyeman was also adjudged the Best Graduating Air Force Cadet.
UCC 40th Congregation held
The University of Cape Coast has held its 40th Congregation at the Congregation Grounds with 7639 persons graduating this year.
Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of Cape Coast calls on VC
The Metropolitan Chief Executive of Cape Coast, Hon. Anthony Egyir Aikins has paid a courtesy call on the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang, at her office to formally introduce himself as the MCE of Cape Coast.
UCC to enter bilateral relations with University of Education-Nigeria
A delegation from the University of Education Ikere-Ekiti, Nigeria, led by its Council Chairman, Prof. Peter Okebukola, has called on the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Cape Coast at the Council Chamber to discuss and sign MOUs in areas of mutual interest.
Joint International Conference held at UCC
The University of Cape Coast, Ghana, and the University of Ilorin, Nigeria, in furtherance of the idea of a South-South Co-operation in Education, jointly held an International Conference on the theme "Culture, Science and Sustainable Development in Africa from September 28-30, 2009.
