UCC And Michigan University (MU) Sign Memorandum of Understanding.

The Memorandum of Understanding is to enable the two institutions to share their valued experiences in areas including social, educational and sciences, with special emphasis on helping build a stronger UCC Medical School. The University of Cape Coast on the other hand, would support Michigan University in areas such as African Studies, Tourism and other disciplines in the humanities.

The Vice-Chancellor, Rev. Prof. Emmanuel Adow Obeng and the representative of the Michigan University, Dr. Kofi K. Gyan initialed the MOU for their respective institutions in the Office of the Vice-Chancellor.

Both parties pledged their unflinching support to the success of the MOU and hoped to maximize its mutual benefits.

Rev. Prof. Obeng thanked Dr. Gyan for the initiative which had placed UCC on the list of universities in the country who have several collaborations with the Michigan University, USA.

The Michigan University has therefore invited Rev. Prof. Obeng to its Campus to conclude negotiations on the implementation of the MOU.

The Director of the Centre for International Education, Prof. K Opoku Agyemang and the Senior Assistant Registrar, Division of Public Affairs, Mr. Jeff Onyame witnessed the signing ceremony at the Office of the Vice-Chancellor.
