The State-of-the-Art UCC Police Station would be handed over to the University authorities by mid-September this year.

Speaking to the "Campus Update" the Deputy Director of the Directorate of Physical Development and Estate Management, Mr. Edward Dadzie said all the major construction works had been completed and what remained were the landscaping and a few pieces of furniture to be supplied.

• The over GH¢40,000 Police Station consists of two cells for prisoners (one each for male and female) with water closet facilities.

• A well-ventilated and spacious Charge Office (with water closet facilities and ceiling fan

• Five offices with ceiling fans and

• An Armoury

The M. P. for Cape Coast, Hon. Christine Churcher has so far donated GH¢40,000 from her share of the Common Fund towards the project.
