Dr. Edward Ntifo-Siaw, Senior Lecturer, Department of Economics and Agricultural Extension (UCC) has recently been appointed as the Chairman of the Interim Management Committee of the Asuopra Rural Bank Limited in the Eastern Region.

Dr. Ntifo-Siaw is also the General Manager of Megyefo Plantations near Kade, and in 2004, won the Best National Oil Palm Farmer’s Award.

He has also served as Chairman of the Management Board of the 2.3 million euros EU/CEDE/SOLIDAD, West Africa Fair Trade Fruits (WAFF) Project which facilitates the businesses of fruit producers and small farmer enterprise groups in Ghana and Burkina Faso.

Dr. Ntifo-Siaw is a Development Management specialist with special expertise in Micro Enterprise Development, Agribusiness and Socio-Economic Research.
