Refurbished Casford Hall Re-dedicated
The Vice-Chancellor, Rev. Prof. E. A. Obeng has re-dedicated the four billion cedis refurbished Casely Hayford Ha1. In an extempore address at the brief ceremony, the Vice-Chancellor cautioned students who have the tendency to destroy any hall property to desist from such untoward actions because of its serious repercussions.
Rev. Prof. Obeng expressed happiness at the good job done by the contractors, but directed that all security lights behind the Casely Hayford Hall to Kwame Nkrumah Hall should be installed immediately.
On his part, the Senior Assistant Registrar of the Office of the Dean of Students, Rev. Canon Dawson-Ahmoah exhorted all students at the hall to eschew any vices in the hall and above all rededicate themselves to God.
The Hall Master, Dr. Prempeh Fiscian promised to get more resources to maintain the hall and also maintain law and order in the hall. The Vice-Chancellor then cut the tape to officially re-dedicate the hall.
Present at the ceremony were the Registrar, Mr. S. K. Ohene and other Senior Members.
