Laboratory Technicians' Diploma Program G.C.E. 'O' Level Credit passes in English Language, Mathematics and three (3) Science subjects or General Science and Additional General Science. A pass in one Science subject at the Advanced Level is an advantage. Diploma in Health Science Education (Tutorship) i. A minimum of five (5) G.C.E. 'O' Level credit passes including English Language, Mathematics and a Science subject. G.C.E. 'A' Level pass(es) will be an advantage. ii. Must be any one of the following categories of Health Personnel: a. Nurse (General Nurse; Psychiatric Nurse; Midwife; Public Health Nurse) b. Environmental Health Personnel c. Community Health Personnel (Communicable Diseases Control Officer; Nutrition Technical Officer) iii. At least, three (3) years post qualification experience in the respective area of specialization. iv. All Health Science candidates must pass an interview. Diploma (Basic Education) Evening Classes Program Candidates must possess one of the following categories of qualifications and experience. i. Cert 'A' 4-Year Post Middle with a minimum of 5 years Post qualification teaching experience, or Cert 'A' 3-Year Post Secondary with a minimum of 3 year Post qualification teaching experience, or 1-Year Certificate from KATTC, Kumasi with a minimum of 2 years Post qualification teaching experience. ii. Candidates will be required to pass a selection examination conducted by the University.
