Prof. Theophilus Aquinas Ossei-Anto a Lecturer at the Department of Science and Mathematics Education, University of Cape Coast has been elected as one of the “Black Achievers in Science and Technology” worldwide – with effect from January 2011 by the Fellowship of the African Scientific Institute (ASI).

Prof. T. A. Ossei-Anto is one of the only  five ASI Fellows in the area of Science Education and also the third African in that discipline apart from two South Africans. This makes Prof. Ossei-Anto the first West African ASI Fellow in Science Education and also the first Ghanaian ASI Fellow in Science Education.

The University is highly honoured by his achievements and the Vice-Chancellor wishes to congratulate him on behalf of the University Council and the entire University Community.

The University Community will be duly informed of his induction ceremony in due course.
