Prof. Samuel Yeboah Mensah, a physicist and a former Dean of the School of Physical Sciences at the University of Cape Coast, has won the silver award as the Best Scientist and took home GHc10,000, an rLG laptop and a plaque. The award ceremony was part of the first ever Ghana Science Congress held in Accra from 2-5th August 2011 on the theme “Water, Sanitation and the Environment - Securing our Future through Science,”.
