Prof. K. Yankson to participate in world forum

The American Biographical Institute, Raleigh, NC, USA, and the International Biographical Centre, Cambridge, England, have announced that the Director of the Directorate of Academic Planning and Quality Assurance, Prof. Kobina Yankson will participate in a World Forum, to be held at the Mark Hopkins Intercontinental Hotel, San Francisco, CA, USA, from June 28 – July 3, 2011.

Prof. Yankson has been invited to attend the Forum as an Ambassador of Ghana. The men and women chosen to attend are from 40 different countries and are individuals whose professional accomplishments, ideas and talents will be shared with the entire delegation. History indicates that progression is mobilised through gathering, learning, and interaction. The Ambassadors will return to their respective countries and professions to enlighten others with newly found cultural and educational awareness.

The American Biographical Institute and International Biographical Centre, publishers of global who’s who volumes, have co-hosted over 30 of these annual events. The goal of the World Forum is to serve as a platform for the melding of experiences and accomplishments for the betterment of all nations and societies. The Mark Hopkins Intercontinental Hotel is the setting for the Forum as Ambassadors will listen to and discuss such topics as education, technology, science, international issues, health, publishing, the arts and much more. In addition, an International Exhibition Gallery will be open the entire week for the display of ambassadors’ art, papers, books and other creative works. Renowned musicians among the delegation will perform at a special concert evening.
